ROAD MAINTENANCE UPDATE
The Rural Municipality of Alonsa would like to thank residents for their patience and understanding during what has been a challenging season.
The recent flooding caused significant washouts and damage to municipal infrastructure, requiring our Public Works crews to focus on urgent repairs and restoring safe access to affected areas throughout the municipality. These repairs were necessary to address immediate safety concerns and ensure residents could continue to travel safely on our road network.
We understand that some residents are waiting for road maintenance and improvements, and we recognize that delays can be frustrating. Please know that your roads have not been forgotten. While flood recovery efforts temporarily altered our work schedule, our crews have returned to regular operations and are working diligently to complete the necessary maintenance on all municipal roads as conditions allow.
We appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support as we work through the remaining projects and address the needs of residents across the municipality. Our goal is to provide safe, reliable roads for all residents while responding responsibly to the challenges created by this year’s flooding.
Thank you for your continued cooperation as we move forward with our road maintenance program.
